Why choose Northwest Elite Basketball?
The #1 goal of NWE basketball is to make our players better. We are very intentional about improving each players individual skills and push them to use those skills to make their team better. We strive to teach offensive and defensive concepts that help improve players basketball IQ. Players will leave our program ready to make a difference on their school team.
When does Northwest Elite start and finish?
Our seasons starts with practices in late March and ends in June/July depending on age.
How many tournaments will we play?
The number of tournaments depends on the age. Pre-high school teams will play in 5-6 tournaments and High School teams will play in 6-8 tournaments depending on the age group and level.
When and where will tournaments take place?
Most teams will play in tournaments in MN and WI. Some of our teams that play in the Prep Hoops Circuit will play regionally across the Midwest.
When and where will teams practice?
Our teams utilize high school gyms in Northwest Wisconsin. We try and find gyms that are centrally located for our teams and coaches. Often times this will depend on gym availability. Typically teams will practice twice a week. Practices will start in late March.
What is the average team size?
Our team size is usually between 9 to 10 players?
How much does it cost to play for Northwest Elite?
The cost to play for Northwest Elite covers fee's for tournaments, practice facilities, coaching stipends, shooting shirts, and administrative costs. Each player will be responsible for paying for their uniform. Cost of uniforms is $60 and uniforms can be used multiple years. The total cost will be determined by age and level of play and typically ranges from $500-$700.
